We Can DIY it Better

Cost: The workshop is Free- thanks to Belfast Learns Festival funded by Belfast City Council but on booking £10 refundable deposit.

As part of Belfast Learns Festival this BTL workshop will provide a range of practical and transferable skills in DIY and Woodwork. Measuring, marking cutting, using a drill and impact driver with precision and knowing the right tool for the job.

The workshop will also include making - the seriously underrated Bench Hook, an essential accessory for any toolbox. Participants will practice the skills of joining wood, accurately and how to plan projects in the home. The workshop will be interactive, practical and invite people to come together for a common purpose - to learn, share and make. Serious work achieved through community, gaining confidence and feeling competent and safe. We can take the work seriously but have fun as we learn together.
